First Gathering

The first gathering was on 25 November 2007, attended by 10 of us, namely the following: Lau Sook Mei, Asha Bhavna, Koh Yoke Keet, Tan Sze Leng, Irene Chin, Audrey Foo, Susay Koay, Lai Li Mei, Loo Choy Ping and myself. We met at Moven Pick Restaurant in Greentown for lunch, and the lunch was stretched till about tea time, or until the restaurant had to wait for us to leave for closing.

Let's start

The aim of this is to get as many old girls that left Methodist Girls' School Ipoh in the year 1984 as possible. There are numerous social networking sites available, but not many are tech-savvy enough or even have the fear of setting up an account, let alone maintaining it.

The group recently gathered for the 25th Anniversary Reunion, and most who attended it are on Facebook. The MGS Year of 1984 page had been set up a while ago, with about 40 plus members so far. Let's see if we can get more people from here.
